This weekend was so full of activity that it just flew by.

Of course, there was football, but there was also Ty’s physical at UMC, date night, and a family outing.  Saturday morning, Ty and I woke up early to go to the free physical at UMC.  It’s an annual requirement.  It’s great that they offer a free one.  Unfortunately ALL of the sports programs in the schools (high school, middle school, and elementary) also take advantage of this freebie.  Needless to say, it was crowded.  When Ty and I arrived a little after 8 there was a line that came out of the building and to the edge of the parking lot (roughly 100 people in line).  And it was getting hot out.  The wait wasn’t too long, and they grouped the kids and had them go thru “stations” that ran all the way down the hallways of the hospital.  Very efficient.  We spent about an hour there.

After UMC, Ty and I joined the rest of the gang (who drove with Gords) at Nate and Bub’s flag football games.  Unfortunately, I didn’t have my camera, and Bubba’s team lost both games.  😦

DH and I are celebrating our 16th wedding anniversary next Tuesday, so we went out for a movie and an overnight stay at a hotel.  😉

Today (Sunday) we got up to have some breakfast at the hotel, then went home to pick up the kids to go watch Shrek. We loved it.  The rest of the day was spent relaxing and napping.

It’s Monday tomorrow, let the madness begin (again)…

How was your weekend?
