HI!
Remember that little camera my dad ordered for me? Well, I traded it in.
For this!!!!!!
May I just say that this thing is AMAZING!
Look-it!

(Zoomed in from the opposite side of the pool)
COOL, huh?
Yeah, I’ll be busy playing with this thing. I will be taking more portraits of the kiddos soon.
Stay cool and drink lots of fluids. IT’S HOT OUTSIDE!!!!

Why didn’t you like the original camera? Just wondering, the new-new one seems to take great pictures, and I always love your pics anyway.
Hey, you should use it to take pics of your hat-creations for Annie Modesitt’s new book. Website here: http://1000fabulousknithats.com
She’s looking for photos of hats you’ve made, and even originally designed, to go into a new inspirations book. It would be a great way to showcase two of your great loves – photography and designing knitwear!

The original camera was a regular point-and-shoot. There weren’t many options or settings. I like to play with the different settings in a more advanced camera when taking pictures. ( BUT I’m no PRO, mind you!) This one is more my cuppa… I’ll have to take some pics of the little one with my hats so I can enter!
Thanks for the heads-up! Good lookin’ out, girl!

Yep, one day I’ll be able to say, “That famous knitter is my friend!”. (My big ulterior motive – secondhand fame)
